AVT-5031 Passive AV Selector allows
you to route up to three sources to a single destination. It is a
mechanical device and does not require any power connection, therefore,
provides no signal amplification or processing. The AVT-5031 was designed
for videogame use, but is useful in any situation where the source equipment
is close to the destination device. A front panel slider switch allows
you to choose which input is routed to the output. The unused inputs
are terminated in the proper impedance. Since it is a passive device,
the bandwidth is very high and it introduces no signal degradation. The
AVT-5031 is used for Composite Video and Stereo Audio and has RCA connectors
for each of the 3 inputs and the output. The unit also has one S-Video
Input/Output to serve as a pass-thru. Note - The unit is not a video
signal transcoder, so for example, the Composite Video Input cannot be
routed to the S-Video Output, or visa versa.
